Materials rings and rolling elements

Cage materials

Brass cage 
Sized bearings cutting brass cage, brass cage but does not apply to the use of ammonia cooling compressor, because ammonia can cause brass seasonal break, and should therefore be replaced with a steel cage.

Nylon cage
According to the bearing types and uses, nylon cage use more widely, but should not be applied to more than 120 ℃ or lower than minus 40 ℃ environment, the holder of the majority of cast molding nylon PA66, this material or with or without glass fiber reinforced strength and flexibility characteristics is a good combination.

 

Nylon elastic strength of the material depends on the temperature and other mechanical properties, as well as permanent alteration of the operating conditions, i.e., aging. In this aging behavior of the most important contributing factors are the temperature, the contact time and the medium (lubricant). Glass fiber reinforced polyamide PA66 aging relationship as shown at right. Cage life with aggressive rise in temperature and lubricant shortened, so nylon cage is suitable for a particular purpose, depending on the operating conditions and life requirements.

Caveat!At 200 ℃ below normal operating conditions Viton is safe and harmless, but Chaoguo 300 ℃ limit temperature, which is equivalent to cutting steel fire. Viton will release smoke. These smoke inhalation is harmful to humans, including the eyes, the other to avoid contact with the skin.
